Bird Bike Battery Not Charging?
E-bike Batteries have a built in BMS (battery management system) that prevents over-charging and cuts off voltage if there are any problems with the internal cells for safety and to prevent overheating. Unfortunately the BMS also uses a small amount of electricity. Which means if your battery sits for a few months without being charged it will drop in voltage enough that when you try and charge it the BMS can not turn on, and it appears your battery is dead. Good news however we have developed a safe and proven method to slowly trickle in enough electricity to wake up the BMS and get the battery charging again. We have an 85% success rate.
Send us your battery, we may be able to get it going!
We charge $65 +$10 return shipping fee if we are successful. If we are unsuccessful we can recycle the battery for free or return it for $10 shipping fee.
